Are you happy about Apps?

It seems somewhat silly that my 3-year-old has an iPod Touch. That is until you see the educational value it's added to her life. We will have some iPod touches for the classroom this year. We'll be sharing with others in our school!. Here are some apps that go along with the Everyday Math program used in our classroom. If you know of any others, for Math or more, please share!

I know What You're Thinking...

For those of you who've followed me for years, you're probably wondering why the blog has changed AGAIN. Well, a new year means I start fresh. That's what summertime is for, right...a time to recharge so that by the time September rolls around, I'm ready for a new set of faces and successes!

This summer has been one of the best so far. I've spent most of the time with my children. We've kept busy on these sunny days - swimming, going for walks and picnics and, of course, reading!

What great books have you read this summer? I hope to hear all about them. Feel free to e-mail me before the year starts, too. My address is nthompson@bville.org. You could also write me a good, old-fashioned, handwritten letter. Send the letter right to school and I'm sure to get it!
